Östra Ravin is one of Åre’s classic freeride spots and has long been a testing ground for some of Sweden’s best skiers. The natural amphitheatre offers everything from smaller drops to some of the biggest cliffs on Åreskutan.

Alexander Rydén skis one of the larger cliff lines in Östra Ravin, with a drop of approximately 15–20 metres depending on snow conditions and the shape of the take-off and landing. The line requires the right snow, speed and conditions to ski safely and with control.
