Climbing in Ticino: Brione, Ponte Brolla and Mognola
A climbing trip through Ticino, Switzerland, combined bouldering in Brione with sport climbing at Ponte Brolla and Mognola. Alexander Rydén attempted a 7C+ boulder in Brione but did not complete the ascent, before continuing to the established gneiss climbing area of Ponte Brolla.
The trip finished at Mognola, a more recently developed alpine climbing area above Fusio at around 2,000 metres. Rydén onsighted Crimp Tonic, graded 7b, adding a high-altitude sport-climbing ascent to the trip.
