Alexander Rydén is an award-winning cinematographer and director specializing in mountain filmmaking.
With an elite background in skiing and climbing, combined with 12 years behind the camera, he films where few others can go – skiing alongside world-class athletes through extreme terrain.

His ability to follow athletes with a camera in the most demanding environments sets him apart. More than capturing action, he helps shape it – bringing three decades of skiing and 18 years of climbing into every sequence.

On location, he often works as a mix of stunt coordinator, second unit action director, skiing cinematographer, or second DP, collaborating closely with athletes and directors to design narratives in environments inaccessible to standard crews.

Whether on skis, ropes, or ridgelines, he delivers storytelling perspectives few others can reach,
shaping high-end visuals infused with authenticity, adrenaline, and raw energy.
